remove all detergent residue and dry with
a cloth.
Immediately aer using the steam funcon,
clean the steam wand with a cloth. Acvate
the steam funcon to prevent clogging
inside the wand.
If the steam wand does get clogged, use a
needle to clear it.
Use a so and damp cloth to clean the
exterior of the coee machine.
Cleaning mineral residues/
descaling
The accumulaon of mineral residues in
the water circuit can aect the funconing
of the coee machine. It is very important
to clean the water circuit to keep the
machine funconing eciently. The quality
of the water used and the type of use will
determine the frequency with which you
will have to clean these residues.
It is recommended to perform cleaning
cycles aer every approximately 300
coees. The machine will indicate that
cleaning is needed when the control panel
buons blink 3 mes and the machine
emits an alert sound aer being turned on.
To clean the water circuit, proceed as
follows:
Place 10g of lemon juice (or citric acid) in
the water tank and add water to the MAX
ll line.
Press the ON/OFF buon. The coee
buons will blink and the machine will
begin warming up. When the coee buons
stop blinking, the machine is warmed up.
The ON/OFF buon will connue to blink.
Place a container under the steam wand.
Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the
steam/hot water posion ( ).
The process will begin and the pump will
operate for 2 minutes, pushing the soluon
through the water circuit. Aer 2 minutes,
the machine will stop.
Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the
CLOSED ( ) posion.
Place a container on the cup rack.
With the portalter removed, press the
double coee buon once the coee
buons have stopped blinking.
Remove the water tank and wash it
carefully. Fill it to the MAX ll line.
Repeat the operaon from step 3 unl step
7. The circuit is clean.
Press and hold the single coee and double
coee buons for 2 seconds. The ON/OFF
buon will stop blinking.
