remove all detergent residue and dry with
a cloth.
Immediately aer using the steam funcon,
clean the steam wand with a cloth. Acvate
the steam funcon to prevent clogging
inside the wand.
If the steam wand does get clogged, use a
needle to clear it.
Use a so and damp cloth to clean the
exterior of the coee machine.
Cleaning mineral residues/
descaling
The accumulaon of mineral residues in
the water circuit can aect the funconing
of the coee machine. It is very important
to clean the water circuit to keep the
machine funconing eciently. The quality
of the water used and the type of use will
determine the frequency with which you
will have to clean these residues.
It is recommended to perform cleaning
cycles aer every approximately 300
coees. The machine will indicate that
cleaning is needed when the control panel
buons blink 3 mes and the machine
emits an alert sound aer being turned on.
To clean the water circuit, proceed as
follows:
Place 10g of lemon juice (or citric acid) in
the water tank and add water to the MAX
ll line.
Press the ON/OFF buon. The coee
buons will blink and the machine will
begin warming up. When the coee buons
stop blinking, the machine is warmed up.
The ON/OFF buon will connue to blink.
Place a container under the steam wand.
Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the
steam/hot water posion ( ).
The process will begin and the pump will
operate for 2 minutes, pushing the soluon
through the water circuit. Aer 2 minutes,
the machine will stop.
Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the
CLOSED ( ) posion.
Place a container on the cup rack.
With the portalter removed, press the
double coee buon once the coee
buons have stopped blinking.
Remove the water tank and wash it
carefully. Fill it to the MAX ll line.
Repeat the operaon from step 3 unl step
7. The circuit is clean.
Press and hold the single coee and double
coee buons for 2 seconds. The ON/OFF
buon will stop blinking.
