6-2. POTENTIOMETRIC RECORDER
The Fluke Model A-70 Self Balancing Potentiometric Re-
corder is a special purpose high sensitivity recorder de-
veloped for monitoring voltages measured by the (% 800
Series Differential Voltmeters. In addition to providing a
permanent record of results, the recorder allows un-
attended monitoring of various voltages from 0 to 500
volts for long periods of time. A sample voltage which
varies in direct proportion to the source under measure-
ment is obtained from the voltmeter null detector by
connecting the recorder to the output terminals at the
rear of the voltmeter. А gain adjustment control adjacent
to the voltmeter output terminals allows the sample vol-
tage to be adjusted such that full-scale meter deflection
equals full-scale recorder deflection. Тһе large leakage
resistance (500, 000 megohms) between the recorder in-
put posts and chassis is such that the inherently high
accuracy of the Fluke Differential Voltmeter is generally
not impaired in any way.
