If the NULL DETECTOR is line operated, return this
shield connection back to the 7528 GUARD. The
purpose of the case ground connection shown in
Figure 3 is to provide an e,arth ground to a
battery operated NULL DETECTOR case. In this
instance, the ground connection comes through the
shield wires to the WT. It is important this
connection to earth ground be made for any battery
operated
