Foreword
Valued FLYER customer,
We are pleased that you have chosen an
e-bike from FLYER.
FLYER e-bikes are high-quality vehicles
and therefore professional service is import-
ant. After consultation and the final assem-
bly of your e-bike, your FLYER specialist
dealer will continue to provide you with
reliable support in the future, whether for
maintenance work, inspections, conversi-
ons or repairs.
Along with this quick guide, you were also
provided with a USB stick when you recei-
ved your new e-bike. The USB stick con-
tains the complete original instructions for
your e-bike, as well as all relevant manu-
facturer manuals for individual components
(= additionally applicable documents). If
necessary, you can also contact your spe-
cialist dealer, who will print out the original
instructions for you on request.
In this quick guide, you will also find a link
to the FLYER homepage, where you can
download the latest version of the original
instructions and the additionally applicable
documents. Compare the version number
of your original instructions at regular inter-
vals with the version number of the original
instructions linked on the homepage. In this
way, you will always be up to date, e.g. in
case additional information is available. The
version number of the original instructions
can be found on the last page.
Be sure to read and internalize the contents
of the original instructions. It contains all the
important information for the safe, long-term
use of your FLYER e-bike.
We hope you enjoy your journey of disco-
very with your FLYER e-bike and hope your
every ride is a great one.
Thank you very much for your trust.

WARNING!
Risk of accident and injury
The e-bike and its components are sub-
ject to wear and high stress. Different
materials and components can react
differently to wear or continuous stress.
If a component‘s planned service life is
exceeded, it can suddenly fail, possibly
causing harm to the cyclist.
• If a component shows any type of
cracks, (deep) scratches or color
changes in high stress areas, have
it replaced.
• Have your FLYER specialist dealer
perform regular inspections of your
e-bike and document them in the
inspection schedule (see page 19
„Inspektionsplan | Inspection plan“).
In the case of components made of
composite materials (e.g. carbon),
damage might not be apparent to the
cyclist.
• After an accident or tip-over, compo-
site components must either be sent
to the manufacturer for inspection
or be destroyed and replaced.
All safety-related information that must
generally be observed for the use and hand-
ling of your e-bike can be found in chapter 4
„Safety“ of the original instructions.
