Why is my Follett HCC700A not making ice but has HI PRESSURE?

  If your Follett Ice Maker displays a HI PRESSURE error and isn't making ice, it could be due to several reasons: * High ambient temperatures exceeding 100°F (38°C). In this case, air condition the area to below 100°F (38°C). * Poor ventilation or air recirculation. Reposition the ice machine or properly ventilate the area, ensuring the exhaust doesn't recirculate. * A clogged condenser (for air-cooled models). Clean the condenser grille. * Lack of water flow through the condenser (for water-cooled models). Restore water flow to the condenser. * Fan malfunction, indicated by blocked fan blades, no fan output from the PC board, or a faulty fan motor. Correct the airflow by removing any blockage from fan blades, replacing the PC board, or replacing the fan motor.

Try cleaning the ice machine and increasing the flushing frequency. If necessary, replace or repair the shuttle mechanism, or replace the PC board. Ensure the gearmotor is properly plugged in.

  If your Follett Ice Maker is in TIME DELAY mode even when the bin isn't full, it could be due to ice jamming caused by an improperly installed transport tube, a shuttle stuck in the up position, a damaged or improperly installed thermostat, or the transport tube backing out of the coupling. Ensure correct transport tube routing and repair or replace the shuttle mechanism if needed. Replace or reposition the thermostat, and correct the coupling installation.

  If your Follett ice machine isn't making ice due to a drain clog, it could be caused by a kinked or plugged drain hose, improper flow or drain routing/pitch causing water backup, high TDS levels and a leaking drain solenoid causing a clog, or no vent on the external drain line. Try removing any kinks or blockages from the drain hose, re-routing the flow or drain, cleaning the area around the drain sensor and/or replacing the drain solenoid valve, or adding a vent to the drain line.

  If your Follett Ice Maker is not making ice and shows a LO WATER error, it could be due to an insufficient water supply, low water pressure, a defective water feed solenoid valve stuck in the closed position, or no water feed output from the PC board. Restore the water supply and check water filters. If the evaporator was completely empty, the reset button may have to be pressed to restart the ice machine. The ice machine will eventually start when water reaches normal low level. Replace the water feed solenoid valve if it's defective, or replace the PC board if there's no water feed output.

Correct the transport tube routing. * The shuttle is stuck in the up position. Repair or replace the shuttle mechanism. * A damaged or improperly installed thermostat (open). Replace or reposition the thermostat. * The transport tube has backed out of the coupling. Correct the coupling installation.
