Why is my FoodSaver Kitchen Appliance bag not sealing properly?

  Several factors can prevent proper sealing. Moisture or grease at the sealing point should be wiped away with a clean, dry paper towel. If there's too much liquid, freeze the bag contents before vacuuming. Creases on the seal line should be gently stretched flat while inserting the bag into the drip tray, holding it until the vacuum pump starts. If the bag still doesn't seal, create a second seal above the first one.

  If the pump runs for over 2 minutes without removing air, ensure the bag's open end is correctly inserted into the drip tray within the lower gasket area. Check that both gaskets are properly fitted and undamaged. Verify that at least one end of the bag is sealed. Inspect the upper and lower gaskets for foreign objects, dirt, or debris. Ensure enough room (75 mm) at the bag's top to fit into the drip tray with the lid closed and latched. Confirm the accessory hose is not attached and the lid is fully closed with the latch in the closed position.
