How to fix FoodSaver FFS014X bag not sealing properly?

  If your FoodSaver Kitchen Appliance bag isn't sealing properly, it might be due to too much liquid in the bag. In this case, freeze the bag contents before vacuuming. To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch the bag flat while inserting it into the drip tray and hold it until the vacuum pump starts. For sealing moist foods, create a second seal above the first one to ensure a proper seal.

  If the FoodSaver Kitchen Appliance pump runs for over 2 minutes without removing air, ensure the bag's open end is in the drip tray. Check that both gaskets are properly fitted and that at least one end of the bag is sealed. Inspect the gaskets for foreign objects, dirt, or debris. Confirm there's enough room at the top of the bag (75 mm) to fit into the drip tray with the lid closed and latched. Ensure the handheld sealer isn't attached and that the lid is fully closed, showing the green band around the latch and the green power light is on.
