Device Unlocking and Registration: Before first use, the device must be unlocked and registered via the FOREO For You app. This process involves downloading the app, logging in or signing up, adding the device, selecting the device series, pressing and holding the power button to connect, and filling in purchase information. This ensures authenticity and activates the 2-year limited warranty.
App Control and Settings: The FOREO For You app serves as the central hub for controlling the LUNA™ 3 plus. Users can adjust various settings for both cleansing and microcurrent modes. For cleansing, the app allows customization of cleansing temperature, duration (up to 240 seconds), and T-Sonic™ pulsation intensity (up to 16 levels) for different facial areas (cheeks, forehead, jaw). These settings are remembered by the device for offline use.
Cleansing Mode Operation: To use the cleansing mode, users first remove makeup, dampen their skin, and apply FOREO Micro-Foam Cleanser. The universal power button is pressed to activate the cleansing mode. The device is then moved in circular motions over the cheeks and forehead, and glided up and down the nose. After the routine, the device is turned off by pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds, and the face is rinsed and patted dry. Waterproof Design: The charging point is waterproof, allowing the LUNA™ 3 plus to be used in the shower during cleansing mode. However, the microcurrent mode cannot be used in the shower, and the device must be completely dry before activating microcurrent functions. It should also be dry before charging and not used while charging.
Battery Life and Charging: The device is USB-rechargeable, with a 2-hour charge providing up to 125 uses (based on a 1-minute treatment time per use). The USB charging cable is included. The charging cable is not designed to go all the way into the device; it is normal for it to stick out slightly.
