TEST DISC
An Enhanced CD-ROM is supplied with your FAP V1 to aid in calibration of surround speaker SPL levels and
verification of performance.
Surround channels described over the next few pages are referred to in these abbreviations:
CF – Center Front
RF – Right Front
LF – Left Front
RS – Right Side
LS – Left Side
RB – Right Back
LB – Left Back
CB – Center Back
RB/S – Right Back and Right Side
LB/S – Left Back and Left Side
SUB – Subwoofer
Included in your test disc are the following tools:
Channel identification tracks
Full bandwidth pink noise test tones for each channel
100Hz, 1kHz, 5kHz test tones for CF, RF, RB, CB,
LB, LF
50Hz test tone for CF
Owner’s manual in .pdf format (Adobe Acrobat needed
to open file)

Subwoofer (RCA) output disconnected.
(You will reconnect the subwoofer after calibrating the
surround channels to ensure accurate measurements)
After you have completed the setup of your FAP V1 and your audio system is ready for speaker calibration, please insert the test
disc in your CD/DVD player.
