Audio and Language Settings
The standard (default) setting for each item is marked with*.
To confirm any changes, highlight ‘Save New Settings’ then press
select,or to cancel,press back.
If you press the‘Reset all settings’(red) button,the settings will change
to the standard settings (NOT the settings made by your installer).
System Details
To see details of your digital set-top unit,including your digital set-top
unit model number, manufacturer and your FOXTEL Smartcard
number.
Signal Test
To see the quality of the signal your digital set-top unit is receiving from
the satellite or cable input.
System Test
To check that your digital set-top unit is properly connected to your
telephone line.
Item Settings Comments
Audio output Stereo* Controls the audio output on the SCART lead.
Background music On*,Off Controls whether or not music will play while
you look at your FOXTEL Digital Guide.
Incorrect PIN signal On*,Off Controls whether or not a‘beep’ noise will
sound if you enter an incorrect PIN.
SPDIF Output MPEG* Controls the digital-coaxial audio output on the
combined audio connector.
Preferred Language – Choose your preferred language for
programmes or channels where more than one
language is available
