ASTMD975orEN590);thisisreducedintheeventoffuelcontamina-
tionandalarmsignalscausedby󰘰ltercloggingand/orthepresenceof
waterinthepre-󰘰lter.The󰘰ltercloggingsignalindicatesthatthe󰘰lter
mustbereplaced.Ifthewarninglightofwaterpresentinthepre-󰘰lter
doesnotgooffafterdrainage,thenthepre-󰘰ltermustbereplaced.
2.Thefrequencyisafunctionoftheenvironmentalconditionsandprod-
uctwear/ef󰘰ciency.Afterlongperiodsofinactivityoftheengine,carry
outthechecksbeforestartingtheengine.Ifthewarningsignalisgiven
indicatingthatthe󰘰lterisclogged,the󰘰ltermustbereplaced.
Generalprescriptions
Ifusingfuelswithasulphurpercentagegreaterthan0.5%,
theintervalsforchangingtheengineoil,engineoil󰘰lterand
blow-by󰘰ltermustbehalvedorsuitablymodi󰘰ed;please
refertotheFPTServiceNetworkforsupport.
Failuretocomplycompletelyorpartiallywiththeserequire-
mentsmayresultintheriskofseriousdamagetotheengine
andmayeven,onoccasion,invalidatethewarranty
