ingcarefulattentiontothetightnessofthesleeves.

Filltheengineandtheheatexchangeruntilthecoolantcircuitiscom-
pletelyfull,asindicatedintheREFILLINGtable3 3

open,starttheengineandletitidlefor
approx.1minute.Thishelpstofullyexpeltheairinthecoolingcircuit.

Stoptheengineandtopupwiththerequiredamount.
•
Makesurethatwhentheengineiscold,thecoolantlevelisafewcen-
timetresbelowthere󰘰llinghole.
•
Ifthereisalevelindicatorwithisoutsideoftheheatexchangers,top
upensuringthatthecoolantdoesnotover󰘰lltheinternalvolumeofthe
exchanger.Thisistoallowtheexpansionofcoolantvolumeifthereis
atemperatureincrease.
Generalprescriptions
Thefailuretoobservetheaforesaidproceduredoesnot
guaranteethepresenceofthecorrectquantityofcoolantin
theengine.
Failuretocomplycompletelyorpartiallywiththeserequire-
mentsmayresultintheriskofseriousdamagetotheengine
andmayeven,onoccasion,invalidatethewarranty
Riskofinjury:
Whentheengineishot,thepressureinsidethecoolingcir-
cuitcanbesuchthatitmayexpelthehotliquidinanex-
tremelyviolentmannerwiththeriskofburns.Onlyopenthe
re󰘰llplugofthecoolanttankwhentheengineiscold.
