Function Description:

The Franklin Tetherball set provides a recreational game where two players hit a tethered ball around a pole. The objective is to wind the rope completely around the pole in one's direction of play, thereby winning the game. The set is designed for outdoor use, with options for both temporary and more permanent installation.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Tetherball Height: The tetherball should hang approximately two feet (60.96 cm) from the ground when properly assembled.
  • Ground Sleeve Installation: For temporary setup, the Ground Sleeve Pole (#3) is twisted directly into soft ground. For a more permanent installation, the ground sleeve can be secured into a one-foot square concrete base or by drilling a 12-inch deep hole in a hard surface.
