3. Maintenance
Belt tension
Checking the tension:
Apply a force of 3.5 daN (8 lbf) on the belt: the belt
should not deflect more than 10 mm (0.39’’) (H).
Before adjusting, maintaining or repairing
the machine, turn off ignition key and wait
until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop.
Regularly check belt tension and in particular
during the first hours of use.
Never replace belts individually.
Replace belts in full sets.
BEFORE ADJUSTING
MAINTAINING OR REPAIRING
THE MACHINE, TURN OFF THE
ENGINE, REMOVE IGNITION
KEY AND WAIT UNTIL ALL
MOVING PARTS HAVE COME TO
A COMPLETE STOP.
