DO NOT REUSE PROBE TUBES.
Use a new probe tube for each ear to prevent the pos

sible spread of infection. Sterilization of probe tubes
is not possible, and germicidal solutions can leave a
residue inside the tubing which can result in errors. Do
not cut off any portion of the tube.
DO NOT REUSE INSERT EARPHONE EARTIPS
Insert earphone eartips are used primarily for perform
-
ing RECD and audiometric measurements. Sterilization
of these eartips is not possible. When performing these
measurements, make sure to use a new ear tip for each
patient.
