    • H
      Heather WhiteAug 17, 2025
If your Frymaster Fryer's computer won't go into program mode or some buttons don't actuate, the computer/controller may have failed. If available, try substituting it with a known working one. If the fryer functions correctly after the substitution, order a replacement from FAS.

How to troubleshoot no display on Frymaster Fryer?
    • C
      Corey WoodwardAug 19, 2025
If there's no display on your Frymaster Fryer's computer or controller, start by ensuring the controller is turned on using the ON/OFF switch. Next, check that the fryer is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the issue persists, a damaged wiring harness or a failed computer/controller might be the cause. If available, try substituting these components with known working ones to identify the faulty part. If replacing the component fixes the issue, order a replacement from FAS.

Why Frymaster Pro H55 Fryer pump won’t start?
    • A
      Amy AndersonAug 22, 2025
If your Frymaster Fryer's pump won't start or stops during filtering, it could be due to a tripped thermal overload switch on an overheated motor. Try resetting the thermal overload switch. If the pump runs normally afterward, it indicates overheating. To prevent this, always filter with the cooking oil at or near frying temperature. After filtering two full frypots consecutively, allow the pump motor to cool for about ten minutes. Also, regularly check and replace the filter paper if there's a significant accumulation of sediment. Another possible cause is a failed filter handle microswitch. If the switch is loose, tighten its nuts and bolts, ensuring it's firmly pressed when the handle is in the ON position. If the switch has failed, call FAS.

Why Frymaster Pro H55 Fryer continues to heat with power switch in OFF position?
    • R
      Richard GordonAug 26, 2025
If the heating mode light is ON, but the power switch is in the OFF position on your Frymaster Fryer, and the fryer continues to heat until the trouble light comes on with the frypot temperature exceeding 410F (210°C), the controller has likely failed. If available, try substituting the controller with one known to be working. If this resolves the issue, order a replacement controller from FAS.

      Logan Reid Jr.Aug 28, 2025
If the display shows an alarm and sounds, but your Frymaster Fryer operates normally (false alarm), the computer/controller may have failed. If available, try substituting it with a known working one. If the fryer functions correctly after the substitution, order a replacement from FAS.

    • G
      Gabriela BensonAug 30, 2025
If the heat indicator is off upon initial startup and the display shows an alarm on your Frymaster Fryer, the computer/controller has likely failed. If available, try substituting it with a known working one; if the fryer then functions correctly, order a replacement from FAS.

Why there is no oil transfer in Frymaster Pro H55?
    • M
      Mark BeltranSep 2, 2025
If your Frymaster Fryer's pump starts, but no oil transfer takes place or the transfer is very slow, the cooking oil might be too cold for filtering. To filter properly, the oil should be near 350°F (177°C). Also, check for improperly installed or prepared filter pan components. Remove the oil, replace the filter paper, and ensure the filter screen is in place. If the issue persists, the filter suction tube is likely blocked; attempt to clear it with a thin, flexible wire. If you can't remove the blockage, call FAS.

Why Frymaster Pro H55 Fryer produces a popping sound when burners ignite?
    • A
      Abigail LeeSep 12, 2025
If your Frymaster Fryer is operating normally but produces a popping sound when burners ignite, it could be due to a dirty or obstructed combustion air blower or gas valve vent tube (non-CE fryers only). Clean the combustion air blower and, if applicable, the gas valve vent tube. If the blower is slow to come up to speed, contact FAS for service.
