  Several factors can impact the cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty or if the intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure the thermostat is set correctly and that no windows or doors are open. For cooling, close curtains to block direct sunlight and reduce heat-generating appliances or the number of people in the room. Also, verify that the unit is not set to SUPER QUIET operation.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu Compact Wall Mounted Type?

  There are several reasons why the airflow from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might be weak or stop. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily low to allow internal parts to warm up. During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at a very low fan speed. The unit will also temporarily stop during Automatic Defrosting (7-15 minutes), indicated by a flashing OPERATION Indicator Lamp. In Dry mode, the fan may stop to adjust humidity. SUPER QUIET operation and AUTO mode monitor also cause very low fan speeds. For multi-type units, differing operation modes among units can cause units to stop, with the OPERATION indicator lamp flashing.

  Various noises can be heard from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. The sound of water flowing in the piping may be heard during or immediately after operation. A noticeable sound of refrigerant flowing may occur for 2-3 minutes after starting. During heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally due to Automatic Defrosting.

  A thin mist may be emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner during Cooling or Dry operation due to the sudden cooling of room air, resulting in condensation. During Heating, steam may rise from the outdoor unit when the fan stops due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

  If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn’t operate immediately after being turned on, it could be due to a protective delay. If the indoor unit is stopped and then immediately restarted, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Similarly, after the electrical breaker is turned off and on again, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing operation.
