This document is an operating manual for a Fujitsu INVERTER Cool Model Room Air Conditioner, specifically a wall-mounted type. It covers the indoor unit model ASBA24JFC and the outdoor unit model AOBR24JFC. The manual provides instructions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Function Description
The Fujitsu INVERTER air conditioner is designed to provide efficient cooling for rooms. The inverter technology allows the unit to quickly reach the desired temperature at the start of operation, then automatically switch to a low power setting for economic and comfortable operation, maintaining a constant temperature.
The unit features an AUTO CHANGEOVER mode, which automatically switches between cooling and dry modes to maintain the set temperature.
For enhanced air circulation, it offers OMNI-DIRECTIONAL AIR FLOW (SWING OPERATION), providing three-dimensional control over air direction swing (UP/DOWN and RIGHT/LEFT). The UP/DOWN air direction flaps operate automatically based on the selected operating mode.
A PROGRAM TIMER allows users to integrate OFF timer and ON timer operations in a single sequence within a twenty-four hour period. This can involve one transition from OFF timer to ON timer, or vice versa.
The SLEEP TIMER function, when activated during cooling, gradually raises the thermostat setting over the period of operation, and the unit automatically turns off once the set time is reached. This prevents excessive cooling during sleep.
For quieter operation, the SUPER QUIET OPERATION mode reduces the indoor unit's airflow.
The air conditioner is controlled by a WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL UNIT, offering convenient operation. In case the remote control is lost or unavailable, MANUAL AUTO OPERATION can be initiated directly from the main unit's control panel.

Maintenance Features
- Removable Open Panel: The indoor unit's Open Panel can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
- Air Filter Cleaning:
- Open the Intake Grille.
- Remove the air filter by lifting its handle and disconnecting the lower tabs.
- Clean dust with a vacuum cleaner or by washing with mild detergent and warm water. Allow to dry thoroughly in a shaded place.
- Replace the air filter and close the Intake Grille.
- It is recommended to clean air filters every two weeks during normal use.
- Mildew-Resistant Filter: The AIR FILTER has been treated to resist mildew growth, promoting cleaner use and easier care.
- Polyphenol Catechin Air Cleaning Filter (UTR-FA13-1): These are disposable filters that use static electricity to clean fine particles, dust, tobacco smoke, and plant pollen. They contain catechin, which suppresses bacteria growth. These filters should be exchanged approximately every three months.
- Negative Air Ions Deodorizing Filter (UTR-FA13-2): Composed of pottery super micro particles, these filters produce negative air ions for deodorizing and absorbing peculiar smells. They should be exchanged approximately every three years.
- Deodorizing Filter Maintenance: To maintain deodorizing effect, clean the filter every three months by flushing with high-pressure hot water and diluent neutral detergent, rinsing, and drying in the shade. Do not rub or ream the filter.
- Long-Term Shutdown: When shutting down the unit for one month or more, operate the fan mode continuously for about half a day to thoroughly dry internal parts.
