What to do if my Fujitsu ASY17RS doesn't operate at all?
    • A
      Amanda SimmonsAug 4, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner isn't operating, start by checking if the power plug is properly connected. Verify that there hasn't been a power failure. Inspect the fuse and circuit breaker. Ensure the main power switch is in the ON position and check the timer settings.

Why is the airflow weak on my Fujitsu ASY17RS?
    • J
      Jamie EwingAug 13, 2025
Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily low to allow internal parts to warm up. During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at a very low fan speed. The unit may also temporarily stop during heating for automatic defrosting. During dry operation or when monitoring the room's temperature, the fan may operate at a very low speed, as well as in the monitor AUTO operation.

Why my Fujitsu ASY17RS Air Conditioner doesn’t operate immediately after turning it on?
    • A
      Ashley MillerAug 17, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might not operate immediately if it was recently stopped and restarted. The compressor has a built-in delay of about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, if the electrical breaker was just turned on or the power supply was reconnected, the protection circuit will prevent operation for about 3 minutes.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner making noise?
    • M
      Miss Katherine LutzAug 21, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner may produce different noises depending on its operation. During and after operation, you might hear the sound of water flowing in the piping. A slight squeaking sound can occur due to temperature changes causing minute expansion and contraction of the front cover. During heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally due to the automatic defrosting operation.

Why does my Fujitsu ASY17RS Air Conditioner emit mist or steam?
    • M
      Mark PhillipsAug 27, 2025
During cooling or dry operation, a thin mist may be seen emitted from the indoor unit. This is due to the sudden cooling of room air, resulting in condensation. During heating, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit due to automatic defrosting operation.
