Switch the device on
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► Press the ON/OFF switch on t
he front of the device.
The power indicator glows and the device is started.
Switching off the device
Switching the device o
ff does not disconnect it from the mains voltage. To completely
disconnect the mains
voltage, remove the power plug from the power socket.
► Shut down the operating system in the proper way.

The devices switches to power saving mode automatically and switches off.

If the device cannot be switched off, you can force a shutdown by
using the following emergency procedure.
Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!
► Press the ON/OFF switch for at least 4 seconds.
The device will switch off.
When you next restart th e device, error messages may be displayed
due to the improper shutdown.

In the BIOS Setup, you can set system functions and the hardware configuration of the
device. At delivery, the default entries are effective ( see BIOS manual or mainboard
manual). You can customize these settings in the BIOS Setup.
