4.2 Performance Management
4.2.1 Overview
This software supports performance management for ETERNUS Disk storage systems. The performance management enables users
to get details about the operation and load statuses of devices.
Additionally, by knowing the number of active disks, it is possible to verify the Eco-mode status of the ETERNUS Disk storage system.
Note
- Do not execute performance monitoring for one ETERNUS Disk storage system from more than one server (*) at the same time.

Resource Coordinator.
- The performance management always starts up when the Management Server starts up. For devices in which performance
management settings have been configured, performance information collection starts in the background. Accordingly,
performance information is collected regardless of whether the Web Console is started or not. To stop performance information
collection, execute performance management stop processing.
