I. fi-4120C/fi-4220C Parts Replacement
Fire or electrical shock may occur when replacing
any of the equipment’s consumables.
Disconnect the AC adapter power plug
from the outlet.
Parts and Consumable Replacement Cycles:
Consumable Item Replacement Cycle (standard)
Pad Assembly Every 50,000 sheets or annually
Pick Roller Every 100,000 sheets or annually
NOTE:
The replacement cycle is estimated for letter size, high quality paper
(20lb, 65 kg/ ream, 75/m) and will differ depending on the type of
paper used.
NOTE:
The pick and roller counter can be reset on the host PC depending on
the operating system you are using. Check your Fujitsu scanner
operator’s guide for instructions.
Step One: Replacing the Pad Assembly
1 Clear the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) of any documents.
