The touchpad enables you to m o ve the mouse p ointer on the screen.
The touchpad buttons allow you to select and execute commands. They correspon d
to the buttons o n a conven tional mouse.
You can use a k ey combination to disable the touchpad, to avoid accidentally moving
the pointer on the screen (see also "
Key combinations", Page 27).

To disable touchpad, press

key. This shortcut w orks on
both W indows 7 and W indows 8.
Selecting an item
Move the pointer to the item you wish to select.

Tap the touchpad once or press the left button once.
The item is selected.
Touchpad gestures are supported.
