Activating the WLAN Device
Activation of the WLAN device can be accomplished using the same method as the deactivation process.
Deactivation Using the Wireless On/Off
Switch
The WLAN device can be deactivated quickly
and efficiently by toggling the Wireless On/Off
Switch to the Off position. The Wireless On/Off
switch has no effect on non-Wireless LAN
models.

THE WIRELESS LAN/BLUETOOTH ON/OFF SWITCH WILL POWER OFF BOTH THE OPTIONAL WIRELESS
LAN
AND BLUETOOTH DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME. TO ENABLE OR DISABLE EITHER ONE OF THE
DEVICES INDIVIDUALLY, PERFORM THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

INDOWS VISTA/WINDOWS 7:
1 Slide the Wireless LAN/Bluetooth on/off switch to On position.
2 Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray to enable/disable the Bluetooth radio.
WINDOWS XP:
1 Slide the Wireless LAN/Bluetooth on/off switch to On position.
2 Go to Start > All Programs > Bluetooth. From the Bluetooth menu, select Bluetooth
Settings.
3 Select Bluetooth from the menu at the top of the Bluetooth Settings window, and select
Connect or Disconnect, depending upon your preference.
