You can connect a monitor, an LCD TV or a plasma T V with a suitable connecto r via the DisplayPort.
► Connect the da ta cable to t he
external device.
► Connect the data cable to the DisplayPort
of the notebook.
Some LCD televisions have only two loudspeaker connections and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolby digital or DT S. In order to reproduce the sound, you
must go into Wi ndows Vista and adjust the sound settings.
Proceed as follows:
► Select Start symbol – (Settings) – Control Panel – Hardware and Sound – Sound.
► Mark Realtek HDMI Output.
► Select Properties – Supported formats.
► D eac tiv ate the settings DTS audio and Dolb y digital.
► Confirm the settings w ith OK.
