The microphone port/Line In allows you to connect an externa l microphone, a MiniDisc
player, MP3 player, CD player or a tape deck to y our notebook.
► Connect the audio cable to the
external device.

o the microphone
port/Line In of the note
book.

Headphones or external loudspea kers can be connected to your notebook via the headphone s port.
► Connect t he data c able to the
external device.
► Connect the signal cable to the
headphones/Line O ut port on the notebo ok.
When you connect headphones or external loudspeakers, the bu ilt-in
loudspeakers are disabled.
If you purchase a cable from a retailer, please note the following:
If you wa nt to connect headphones or a s peaker you will need a "3.5 m m jack plug".
