following guidelines when handling data carriers:

hing the surface of a data carrier. Only handle data carriers by their edges.
• Always store data carriers in their cases. This will protect the da ta carrier against
being covered in dust, scratched or damaged in any other way.
•Protecty
our data carriers against du st, m echanical vibrations and direct sunlight.
• Avoid storing a data carrier in areas subject to high temperatures or humidity.
You can u
se data carriers with a diameter of 8 cm / 3.15" or 12 cm / 4.7" in the drive.
When us
ing a data carrier of lesser quality, vibrations and reading errors may occur.
