Try using the [Fn+F9] key combination to increase the volume. If headphones are plugged in, remove them as they disable the built-in speakers. Also, check that the speakers haven't been muted by clicking the Volume icon in the system tray and unchecking 'Mute', or use [Fn+F3]. If these steps do not work, the audio driver may need to be reinstalled using the Drivers and Applications CD that came with your LIFEBOOK.

Terminate the application program in Windows by pressing Alt + F4. If the fault persists after closing the program, use the key combination for switching the screen output to switch over to the notebook’s LCD screen. Change the screen resolution as described in the documentation for your operating system. Select monitor 1 or 2 as described in the documentation for your operating system.

  If the battery on your Fujitsu Tablet discharges too quickly, it may be because the battery is either too hot or too cold. In this case, bring the notebook up/down to a normal temperature again. If the operating time of the battery life is extremely short, the battery is probably too old; replace the battery if necessary. Also, an application running may consume a great deal of power due to frequent accessing of the hard disk or optical drive, so use the mains adapter as frequently as possible. Finally, the maximum brightness may have been set for the screen. Set the screen slightly darker with the key combination for Decreasing the screen brightness in order to reduce the amount of power being drawn.
