Why does the battery on my Fujitsu Tablet discharge so quickly?
    • M
      Mr. Steven BartonSep 12, 2025
If your Fujitsu Tablet's battery is discharging too quickly, it could be due to several factors. The battery might be too hot or too cold, in which case the battery indicator flashes; bring the tablet up/down to a normal temperature again. An application running might be consuming a lot of power by frequently accessing the hard disk or optical drive, so use the mains adapter as frequently as possible. Also, the screen brightness might be set to maximum, so set the screen slightly darker with the key combination for decreasing the screen brightness to reduce power consumption. If the operating time of the battery life is extremely short, the battery is probably too old. Replace battery if necessary.

Why doesn't the battery indicator illuminate on my Fujitsu Tablet?
    • H
      Heather JonesAug 26, 2025
If the battery indicator on your Fujitsu Tablet does not illuminate, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, ensure that the battery is correctly installed in its compartment. If the battery is fully discharged, charge the battery, install a charged battery, or connect the notebook to a mains outlet using the mains adapter.

What to do if the external monitor remains blank when connected to my Fujitsu Tablet?
    • J
      Jodi HurstSep 12, 2025
If the external monitor remains blank when connected to your Fujitsu Tablet, first ensure that the monitor is switched on. Power saving may have been activated, so press any key to continue. The brightness might be set too low, so adjust the brightness of the monitor. Also, check that the screen output is not set to the tablet's LCD screen; if it is, press the key combination to switch the screen output. Finally, ensure the external monitor’s power cable and data cable are properly connected by switching off the external monitor and the tablet, checking the power cable connection to the external monitor and the power socket, and checking the data cable connection to the tablet and the external monitor. Then, switch on the external monitor and the tablet.

If there is no sound from your Fujitsu Tablet's speakers, first, ensure the volume isn't too low by adjusting the volume control on your Tablet and in the operating system. Try using the [Fn+F9] key combination to increase the volume. If headphones are plugged in, remove them as they disable the built-in speakers. Also, check that the speakers haven't been muted by clicking the Volume icon in the system tray and unchecking 'Mute', or use [Fn+F3]. If these steps do not work, the audio driver may need to be reinstalled using the Drivers and Applications CD that came with your LIFEBOOK.
