Why does my Fujitsu T5010 - LifeBook PC turn off by itself?
    • S
      Scott YoderAug 17, 2025
If your LifeBook Tablet PC turns off by itself, it might be due to power management settings that are too short for your needs. Try pressing any button on the keyboard or moving the mouse. If that doesn't work, push the Power/Suspend/Resume button. Another cause could be operating on battery power and ignoring a low battery alarm, leading to Dead Battery Suspend mode. In this case, install a power adapter and push the Power/Suspend/Resume button. Also, verify the condition of the battery using the Status Indicator panel; if the battery is shorted, replace or remove it.

What to do if Fujitsu Tablet PC fails to recognize DVD/CD-RW/CD-ROM’s?
    • A
      Amy MartinezAug 21, 2025
If your Fujitsu Tablet PC fails to recognize DVD/CD-RW/CD-ROM’s, first ensure that the disc is correctly placed on the raised center circle of the drive. If that doesn’t work, make sure the optical drive tray is latched shut; if not, push on the front of the tray until it latches, or remove and re-insert the drive. Verify that you have the correct DVD Player software installed and that the drive designator used by the application is the same as the one used by the operating system. Finally, check if the DVD/CD-RW/CD-ROM is dirty or defective; wipe it with a non-abrasive CD cleaning cloth and reinsert, or try another disc.

Why won't my Fujitsu T5010 - LifeBook PC Tablet load the operating system?
    • D
      Daniel McbrideAug 25, 2025
If the system powers up but fails to load the operating system on your Fujitsu Tablet PC, the boot sequence settings may not be compatible with your configuration. Set the operating source by pressing the [ESC] key while the Fujitsu logo is on screen, or use the [F2] key to enter the setup utility and adjust the source settings from the Boot menu. If you have a secured system, ensure you have the correct password. Enter the setup utility and verify the Security settings. If the internal hard drive was not detected, use the BIOS setup utility or Primary Master submenu to try to auto detect the internal hard drive.

    • J
      Jeffrey EllisSep 1, 2025
If you turn on your Fujitsu LifeBook Tablet PC and nothing seems to happen, check the Status Indicator Panel to determine the presence and condition of the battery. Install a charged battery or a Power adapter if the installed battery is completely discharged or there is no Power adapter installed. If the battery is faulty, remove it and operate from another power source or replace it. If the battery is low, use a Power adapter to operate until the battery is charged, or install a charged battery. Ensure the power adapter is connected correctly and has power from the AC outlet, airplane jack, or car cigarette lighter. If the power adapter is faulty, try a different one.
