6.1.3 Indicators of the system fans
A fan status indicator (LED on the system board) is assigned to each system
fan. The status indicators are not visible unless the housing is open. The
respective LED is set with commands in Server Management.

The server is switched off, but AC voltage /
DC voltage is present (standby mode).

The server is switched on and operating
properly.
orange
flashing
An overload has been detected. The PSU is
still running, but failure might be imminent.
orange on
An PSU failure has been detected. Possible
causes:
– Over/under voltage
– Overheating
– Fan failure
LED Meaning
lights orange Possible fan failure (rotation speed less than 70% of the
original speed) or fan failure
