Starting up and operation

system without the ServerView Installation
Manager
Configuring the onboard SATA RAID controller with "Integrated Mirroring
Enhanced"
Configure the controller as described in section "Configuring the onboard SATA
controller" on page 80.
Configuring the SAS/SATA RAID controller (PCIe expansion card)
Configure the controller as described in section "Configuring the SAS/SATA
RAID controller" on page 81.
Installing the operating system
Ê Insert the CD/DVD for the operating system you want to install.
Ê Reboot the server.
Ê Follow the instructions on screen and in the manual for the operating
system.
