Precautions before installing the OS
When using the following external optional devices, take
note of the following before installing the OS.
- USB optional devices other than FDD units
Install USB optional devices other than FDD unit after in-
stalling the OS.
- PRIMERGY SX35
When RAID is congured using the hard disk units in
the PRIMERGY SX35, delete the RAID conguration
rst. After installing the OS, create a RAID conguration
again.
- External storage system such as the ETERNUS disk
storage systems
Do not turn the storage system on until OS installation has
completed.

Available Internal options and
installation locations
After installing internal options, check that the installation
order and location are correct and cables are correctly
connected.
