27. Cold start
1. Place the machine on a firm and flat surface. Slide the engine stop switch to the
front position 1 (ON).
2. Move the lever for the choke up
3. Press the carburetor pump approximately 8-10 times (until gasoline flows in the line)
and lock the half-gas by pressing the gas lever and locking the gas lock.
4. Pull out the starter cable with a short stroke until resistance is felt
(About 100mm). A continuous, especially fast train will provide a strong spark and the
engine will report after 3-4 trains.
5. Important: Turn the lever for the starting choke after the motor has returned to the
"WARM START" position and pull the starter again until the engine starts. '' See also

6. Allow the engine to run at idle for about 3-5 minutes, and only lightly gas.
NOTE: If the machine does not start after repeated attempts, refer to troubleshooting
sections.
NOTE: Always pull out the starter rope straight. The oblique pulling of the starter causes
the rope to rub against the eye. The diagonal pull can lead to failure or breakage of the
starter cable pull. Always hold the starter handle when the cable pulls back. Never drop
the rope out of its extended position. This could damage the starter device.
