10. Rotate the lower block so that the wear pads
lay flat on the setting blocks.
11. Adjust the lower block so the contact points
touch the setting blocks and the indicator has
approximately 0.010” to 0.020” of preload.
12. Tighten the lower block locking knob to secure.
13. While maintaining pressure toward the right
setting block, sweep the upper block back and
forth to locate the smallest indicator reading.
