Oī set Fence
ExisƟ ng non-electric fences can be protected to last for many more years simply by
aƩ aching Oī set Brackets (G6590 or G6620) and an electriĮ ed wire on both sides of
the non-electric fence. Use a single oī set wire, posiƟ oned at two thirds the height
of the animal (chest height) to be controlled.

Find a locaƟ on for your ground system that is permanently
damp, has high ferƟ lity or salinity and is away from dairy
sheds. Install the ground system at least 33Ō (10m) from any
power supply ground peg, underground telephone or power
cable. The best construcƟ on is 61/2Ō (2m) long galvanised
stakes G8790 or Super Earth Kits G8800, 10Ō (3m) apart,
connected to the Energizer by high quality Lead-out cable
G6270. Do not use materials that rust. (Use G6272 if the
ground system is over 300Ō {100m} from the Energizer). It
is recommended to use 1 ground rod per 5 Joules, with a
minimum of 3 rods.
