Why is the battery LED solid red and energizer stopped working on my Gallagher S12 LITHIUM Power Supply?

  The battery LED is solid red and the energizer has stopped working because the battery capacity is flat due to insufficient sunlight. To resolve this: * Ensure the energizer is getting enough sun and facing the correct direction. * Make sure the energizer is in direct sunlight. * Turn the energizer OFF for 3 days and leave it in the sun to charge the internal battery.

  If the battery LED is flashing red, this indicates a temperature protection state. The energizer has stopped pulsing to protect the internal battery. The energizer will self-recover when the temperature returns to its normal operating range.

  If stock is getting out due to no or low voltage on the fence, take the following steps: * First, verify that the energizer isn't faulty by disconnecting it from the fence and earth. * Then, measure the voltage across the fence and earth terminals using a Gallagher Fence Voltmeter. * If the voltage is less than 5 kV, return the energizer for service. * If the voltage is more than 5 kV, inspect the fence for shorts and consider adding a supplementary ground rod.
