Clutch Calibration
This routine will calibrate the transfer case clutch.
Preparations
•TurnengineOFF
•Selectneutral,depressandholdbrakepedal
•Starttheroutineandfollowtheinstructionsonscreen
Usages
This function is used when:
•Theswitchisreplaced
•ThetransferboxECUisreplacedorre-ashed
•Therangepositionsensorisreplaced
•Thetransferboxmotorisreplaced
•Thetransferboxisreplacedorrepaired
Position or Range Sensor Calibration
This routine will allow the TCCM ECU to learn the sensors characteristics.
Preparations
•TurnengineOFF
•Selectneutral,depressandholdbrakepedal
•Starttheroutineandfollowtheinstructionsonscreen
Usages
This function is used when:
•ThetransferboxECUisreplacedorre-ashed
•Therangepositionsensorisreplaced
•Thetransferboxisreplacedorrepaired
Notes: Both calibrations should be performed outside since starting the engine is required at one point.
It is normal for warning lights to turn ON and error messages to be displayed during these calibrations.
XY Sensor Calibration (gear position sensor, manual transaxles only)
This routine will calibrate the XY sensor positioned on the transmission.
