The GPS antenna must be mounted on top of the rotorcraft. * Ensure the rotorcraft is clear of obstructions like hangars, buildings, and trees. * Address potential RF interference at 1575.42 MHz from VHF COM by adding a 1575.42 MHz notch filter in the COM coaxial, fixing or replacing the COM, disconnecting the ELT antenna coaxial to check for possible re-radiation, or moving the GPS antenna further from the COM antenna.
