INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Assembling the Portable Mount
You need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble the portable mount.
1 Insert the handle into the two openings on the portable mount base .
2 Secure the handle to the base using the two 42 mm machine screws and two nuts .
3 Slide the included hook and loop straps through the narrow slots beside the battery compartment.
4 If you are installing a Panoptix LiveScope
™
sonar module , using the eight included 21 mm screws , split
washers, and flat washers, attach the two included brackets to the module, and secure the brackets to
the portable mount.
5 Align the chartplotter bail mount over the hole pattern that matches your bail mount, with the openings on
the top of the bail mount facing the back of the base.

Secure Handle and Components

Insert and secure the handle to the base using screws and nuts, then attach hook and loop straps.

For LiveScope modules, attach brackets to the module using included screws and washers.

Align Chartplotter Bail Mount

Align the chartplotter bail mount over the base hole pattern, facing openings backward.

Mounting Chartplotter and Battery

Secure Device Mount

Secure the device mount to the base using machine screws and washers (use with metal bail mount only).

Install Chartplotter/Cradle

Place rubber washers on knobs, screw into cradle/chartplotter, and place into bail mount.

Install Battery and Secure

Place battery in compartment and secure it with straps around the portable mount.

Placing the Portable Mount in the Bag

Bagging the Mount

Place the assembled mount into the bag, wrap cables, and close zippers for storage.

Connecting the Cables

Cable Connections

Connect power and transducer cables to the chartplotter, sonar module, and battery terminals correctly.
