Keyboard
The Gateway Solo 2100 Multimedia Notebook features an 85-key keyboard.
To provide the full functionality of a 101/102-key keyboard, many of these
keys have been assigned alternate functions, including shortcut keys for
Windows
®
95 and Popup Status Display menus. Connect an external key-
board through the PS/2 port on the rear of the system, or the PS/2 (key-
board) port on the optional mini-docking station.

Key combinations/hot keys
For normal key functions:
u Press the key alone to get standard lowercase letters, numerals and
punctuation marks.
u Press the key together with the Shift key to get standard uppercase letters
and symbols.
