The Load Leg is an eective safety feature
of the GB Idan and using it is strongly
recommended. However, many vehicles have
a hump in the floor that could cause the Load
Leg, even its shortest position, to push the
Base above the vehicle seat.
If ALL installation requirements for the Load
Leg cannot be met, you MUST choose another
seating position, install the base with the load
leg folded underneath (stored position), or
install the Infant Carrier without the Base.
INSTALL the Load Leg Base in a seating position
that will allow the Load Leg to be extended
into a locked position with firm contact with the
vehicle floor.
NEVER INSTALL the Load Leg Base in a
seating position where the Load Leg, even in
its shortest position, causes the Base to be
pushed up above the vehicle seat.
There should
NEVER be any
space between
the Load Leg Foot
and the vehicle
oor.
The Load Leg should
NEVER push the Base
above the vehicle seat.
