    • J
      Jennifer CalderonAug 5, 2025
If your GE Air Conditioner cycles on and off too much or doesn't cool the room when in cooling mode, check the following: * Ensure the air conditioner is properly sized for your RV. * Clean the filter if it's dirty or obstructed. * Make sure louvers are open. * Do not operate in cooling mode if the outside temperature is below 65°F (18°C). * Allow extra time to cool a very hot room. * Close all windows and doors. * Adjust the TEMP control to a cooler setting and set the Fan Speed control to the highest setting.

If water drips from the cabinet of your GE Air Conditioner into your house: * The indoor coil may be frozen. De-ice by running the fan only until it's clear. * The air conditioner’s mounting gasket may not be sealed against the roof. Check mounting bolts and tighten to 45 ± 5 in-lbs if necessary.

Why does my GE Air Conditioner keep blowing fuses?
    • C
      Caroline ScottAug 25, 2025
If your GE Air Conditioner keeps blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers: * It may be caused by too many appliances on the same circuit. * Ensure you are using the correct time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. * Wait at least 3 minutes after turning off the air conditioner before restarting it.

Why does my GE Air Conditioner seem to run too much?
    • M
      mullinsrichardAug 29, 2025
Your GE Air Conditioner may seem to run too much because newer, more efficient components cause it to run longer than older models. This doesn't mean it's using more energy; the total energy consumption will be less. Also, newer air conditioners don't emit the “blast” of cold air you may be accustomed to from older models, but this isn't an indication of lesser cooling capacity or efficiency.
