Chapter 2. Error Codes
2.1 Introduction
The Model XGM868i ultrasonic flow transmitter is a reliable, easy to maintain instrument. When properly installed
and operated, as described in the Startup Guide, the meter provides accurate flow rate measurements with minimal user
intervention. However, if a problem should arise with the electronics enclosure, the transducers or the flowcell, a
built-in error code message system greatly simplifies the troubleshooting process.
All of the possible Model XGM868i error code messages are discussed in this chapter, along with the possible causes
and the recommended actions. When an error code is generated, it will appear on the LCD as shown in Figure 5.
