Why does my GE Water Filtration Systems have low operating pressure?
    • G
      grobinsonAug 1, 2025
If your GE Water Filtration System has low operating pressure, it could be due to high flow rates. Try closing the concentrate bypass valve and checking the permeate and concentrate flow rates, adjusting them if necessary. Note that excessive permeate flow may indicate improper interconnector installation. Also, inspect and clean the pump discharge screen, as it may have low primary pressure. Dirty or fouled membranes (low final pressure) may also cause this problem, requiring you to clean the membranes. Warm operating conditions should be corrected. If you have a 3-phase power system, check if the pump is rotating backwards and switch any two 3-phase leads to the motor starter. For issues with the pump operation, refer to the pump instructions.

What to do if my GE Water Filtration Systems has low inlet pressure?
    • A
      Alice PerezAug 17, 2025
If your GE Water Filtration System displays a low inlet alarm due to insufficient feed water pressure, you should increase the feed pressure, open the inlet/feed valve, check for any restrictions, or consider installing a feed water boost pump. Another possible cause is a clogged pre-filter, which requires replacing the pre-filters. Also, the solenoid valve may not be opening, in which case you should clean or replace it.
