Using the Mode Button
The GE camera provides a convenient Mode Button that allows you to switch between dierent modes with ease. Press Left/Right
button to choose the mode, press to select. All the available modes are listed as follows:
Mode Name Icon Description
Auto mode Switch to take still pictures in automatic mode.
Manual mode
M
Switch to take still pictures in manual mode, where many camera settings can be congured.
(Recommended for advanced users only)
ASCN mode
In the "ASCN" mode, dierent scene conditions are detected intelligently and the most suitable
settings will be automatically selected.
Scene mode Switch to use a preset scene mode for taking still pictures. There are 14 scenes in total.
Underwater Movie
mode
Switch to record videos underwater.
Underwater Picture
mode
Switch to take still pictures underwater.
Panorama mode Switch to capture a sequence of shots and stitch them together into a panoramic photo.
Movie mode Switch to record videos.
