Locking the Manual Releases
• The manual releases may be actuated unintentionally when
manipulations are being performed on the spring mechanism.
• Manipulating the spring mechanism without locking the manual
releases poses risk of injury.
If Then
Cabinet is mounted horizontally;
mounted on rear panel
• Remove the side panels (1)
• Remove the side panel lock
nuts (2)
• Swing the side panel (1) out
and down
1 Side panel 4 Roof
2 Side panel lock nut 5 Suspension pin
3 Roof mounting screw 6 Cover plate
Prevent inadvertent manual actuation of the spring
mechanism by locking manual trip devices or releases.
