How to fix a GE Ice Maker that is not working?
    • C
      Craig DelgadoJul 25, 2025
If your GE Ice Maker isn't making ice, begin by ensuring the freezer compartment is sufficiently cold, allowing 24 hours for cooling after installation. Confirm the icemaker power switch is in the ON position and the cord is correctly plugged into the socket. Check for any kinks in the water line and ensure the house water supply is turned on. Also, make sure the water valve wire adapter is fully plugged onto the terminals on the water valve. If ice cubes are piled up, level them manually.
