Using the oven.
Oven Temperature Knob (onsomemodels)
Turn this knob to the setting gou want.
i, Theoven cycling light comes on during cooking.
(On some models-

The oven has 5 shelf positions.
It also has a special low shelf
position (R)for extra large items,
such as a large turkey.
Before you begin...
Toavoid possibleburns, place the shelves
in the desiredposition before_lOUturn the
OVeR on,
The shelveshave stop-locks, so that when
placed correctlg on the shelf supports (A
through E),theg will stop before coming
completelg out, and will not tilt.
When placing and removing cookware,
pull the shelf out to the bump on the
shelf support.
Toremove a shelf, pull it toward gou, tilt the
front end up and pull it out.
Toreplace, place the end of the shelf (stop-
locks)on the support, tilt up the front and
pushthe shelf in.
NOTE:The shelf isnot designed to slide out
at the special low shelf (R)position.
The oven has o special low shelf(R)
position just above the oven
bottom. Use it when extra cooking
space is needed, for example, when
cooking a large turkey. The shelf is
not designed to slide out at this
position.
How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting (onmodelswithoutanoventemperatureknob)
[] Touchthe Bake pad.
[] Touch the + or- pads until the desired
temperature is displaged.
[] Touch the Start/On pad,
FJ1 Checkfood for doneness at minimum

time on recipe. Cooklonger if necessarg.
[] Touch the Clear/Off pad when baking is
finished and then remove the food from
the oven.
Theovenwill start automaticallg. The displag
will show PREwhile preheating. When the
oven reaches the selectedtemperature, the
oven control will beep and the displagwill
show the oven temperature.
Tochangethe oven temperature during BAKE
cycle,touch the Bake pad and then the + or -
pods toget the new temperature.
