Usingthe oven.
Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired position before you turn the oven on.
Theoven has 6 shelf Positions.
Before you begin...
The shelves haxe stop-locks, so that when
placed correctly on the shelf supports (A
through F), the}.'will stop before coming
complemly out, and will not flit.
_]_en placing and remofing cookware,
pull the shelf out m the bump on the shelf
support.
Toremovea shelf,pull it toward you, tilt the
front end up and pull it out.
TOreplace, place the end of the shelf
(stop-locks) on the support, flit up the fl'ont
and push the shelf in.
CAUTION:Whenyouareusingthesheffinthelowest
position(A),youwi//needtousecautionwhenpulling
theshelfout.Werecommendthatyoupufftheshelf
outseveralinchesandthen,usingtwopotholders,pu//
theshelfoutbyholdingthesidesofit. Theshelfislow
andyoucouldbeburnedifyoup/aceyourhandinthe
middleoftheshelfandpu//a//thewayout.Beyen/
carefulnottoburnyourhandonthedoorwhenusing
theshelfinthelowestposition(A).
How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting
Yourovenisnotdesignedfor open-doorcooking.
[-]] Touch the BAKEpad.
Touch the ÷or - pads until the
desired tempei_atui'e is displayed.
V_ Touch the START/0N pad.
The o_en will SmI't automaflcally. The display
will show PRfwhile preheaflng, h]_en the
oxen reaches the selected tempeI"amx'e, the
oxen conu'ol will beep sevei_al times and the
display will show the oxen tempeI_amI'e.
TochangetheoventemperatureduringBAKEcyc/e,
touchtheBAKEpadandthenthe+or-pads to get
thenewtemperature.

rune on recipe. Cook longer if necessai>
_-] Touch the CLEAR/OFFpad when baking
isfinished and then remove the food

Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat the o_enif the recipe callsfor it.
Preheaflng is necessaU %r good results when
baking cakes, cookies, pasuy and breads.
TheOisplaywillshow"PRE"whilepreheatingWhen
theovenreachestheselectedtemperature,theoven
controlwillbeepandthedisplaywillshowtheoven
temperature.
Baking results will be better if baking pans are
cenmred in the oven as much as possible. If
baking with more than one pan, place the
pans so each has at least 1 to 1½" of air space
around it. If baking four cake layers at the
same time, place two layers on rack B and two
layers on i_ack D. Smgger pans on the i_ackso
one is not directly abox_ the other

Ne_r entirely co_er a shelf with ahmfinum
foil. This willdismrh the heat ciivulaflon and
result in poor baking,
Asmaller sheet of foilmaybe used to catch
a spilloverhyplacing it on a lowershelfseveral
inches below the food.
